I have the Xi trunk lid trim piece but I am missing the actual clips.
What ones do I get if anyone knows?

Have a look at the metal hole its going into.
Aren't they around 4 - 5 mm?

its a BOOT
Number of different design push in clips available at Supercheap, as long as you know the hole size. From a wreckers, the ones that hold the bonnet liner on would do the trick.
PS:
Diamantes have a trunk and a hood. Fenders as well. They use gas (=gasoline)
Magnas have a boot and a bonnet. Mudguards too. They use petrol.
English dialects, you know.

I know,it just pisses me off something chronic when people refer to parts and bits on their cars which are normally never used here.
Nearly as bad a bedding in my breaks and if i drop my headlight ,will it brake ?

The terminology I use is not for lack of knowing but rather I learned American English rather than Australian English and hence it is a force of habit.
Also "boot" just sounds really wrong to refer to the trunk lid.

So 9mm diameter clip is what I need?

I would advise buy one, take it out to the car park, see how it goes. Don't buy the whole lot and panic if they are 1mm too big/small.

Just get it from Autobarn or something. I prefer sourcing OEM as much as anyone but come on, waste of money, the clips will be identical to the third party ones and I bet you anything they are more expensive.

I got mine from Auto Barn. I do have a few different head sizes in there, but not noticeable.
