hey guys, my power steering tensioner pulley has become quite sad and is now fairly embarrassing to drive around car parks. i have to squirt the pulley with WD40 (the only thing i have at uni) before i drive the car to any car parks to stop the noise.
i want to replace the bearing, does anyone know where i could get one from? (repco?)
cheers.

rockauto.com, Mal, Repco, Supercheap all worth a try.
You will need a allen key to undo the bolt holding the pulley to the bracket.

I got a GMB pulley from the local bearing shop that supplies us at work. He charged me $39 at "mates rates". Autobarn do them for about $70

What do worn out belt pulleys sound like exactly?
Like what a stuffed bearing sounds like. Anything from a abnormal rumble to a squeal.

they can make all different sounds.. mines making a pulsating wuring noise kinda like this except not as loud and pulsing:

at first i thought it was the p/s pump but then i sprayed the pulley with wd40 and the noise stopped even if i moved the steering wheel.
so yeah its not too happy...

Have you tried changing the tension pulley position? see if it makes a difference? Though if it's gone it's gone. I adjusted the tension on mine after it was squealing and pulsating, gone with the noise.
