Not that it matters much, Australian radio is utter god awful garbage. But its cool showing people my err... retractable aerial
Problem is its not going up. Was working just fine with the stock head unit. I bought a wiring harness and plugged my unit in (Pioneer DEH-P4950MP) thats about it.
Do I need to crimp one of the spare wires? if so which one?

Do you have the wiring diagram for the head unit?

Generally will have 2 trigger wires, 1 for antenna and 1 for the amp. From memory most aftermarket radio looms use a blue wire and generally have a sticker on these wires to show what they are

found a manual for it, which - whilst it doesn't specifically have a wiring diagram or 'how to' - mentioned this
When this unit’s blue/white lead is connected
to the vehicle’s auto-antenna relay control
terminal, the vehicle’s antenna extends when
this unit’s source is turned on. To retract the
antenna, turn the source off
So the next question is, which wire does the blue/white wire need to connect to on the cars side?
