Hi folks, can you confirm if a KL Verada Xi has a Subwoofer, cheers!

No Mitsubishis in Australia came with subwoofers except for the ZG onwards Outlander as an option.

The Veradas just have 2 lots of 6x9 2-way on the rear parcel shelf

Thanks Vlad, so the 10 speaker setup standard with the KL Verada comprise's of base speaker's in the back?....interesting as I just installed a Sony Touchcreen & Cadence AMP, it sounds like there is a Sub!

The 6x9 has plenty of base. In all, there are 2 mid-range speakers on the front dash (under the round foam covers next to the base of each A-pillar), 2 high-range tweeters in the wing mirror assembly, 2 woofers in the front doors and 2 2-way (woofer/tweeter) in the rear parcel shelf. Mitsubishi upgraded the speakers in the L and W series to basically double the peak powers, e.g., from E to J, the 6x9 were 10W and the L and W are 20W.

CJ Lancer VRX's and Ralliart's had them, at least as an option.

Sorry, yes the CJ Lancers had the same option as the ZG Outlander. I don't think the Ralliarts had them as an option. They just had the aftermarket Eclipse headunit.

Thanks for info Vlad, yeah...standard speakers perform better than I expected, I appreciate personal choice & some folks would love to add a sub etc, I'm happy with standard fair with the Cadence AMP I just hooked up :)

I hear what you're saying V4, I found the same thing with the factory 6x9 rears, they had pretty good bass extension and sounded better when I upgraded the head unit & switched to a seperate amp.
But I found them soft sounding in the mids & highs and not capable of much power. I have since upgraded my 6x9s & front splits although I've turned the rears down to a trickle (I bring them back up to volume if rear passagers want to listen to the music) they sound far better than the factory rears by a mile. More power, punch, way more clarity in the mids & highs and more efficient. When I upgraded my stereo, the factory speakers didn't last long before they were upgraded as it was obvious that they were holding back the rest of the upgrade considerably. And yes I have since installed a sub to take over most of the low bass duties.

I guess what I'm saying is that it doesn't take much time to get used to the sonic improvements until the desire to upgrade the sound kicks in again. Well at least that's how it was for me.
