Hi guys,my cv joints are just starting to get a little noisy when turning with a bit of power on and the boots are showing signs of surface cracks. I'm pulling the engine shortly so Im thinking its a good time to replace the shafts. There are plenty of eBay cheapies, reco items etc etc. Has anyone had a good experience with any suppliers? I'm keeping the car so I don't want junk. There are some Repco items on eBay,but I've heard some so so reports on them. Any ideas? Cheers!

Best to buy a new one if your keeping the car. I got one from this mob last year and its great. Also depends on what mileage yours have done as you may just need a new outer joint kit and boot kit for the inner. Vee

Thanks heaps for that. It's so hard these days to know what's decent quality. I've seen that brand outer joint on eBay as well, so as you say, I may be able to get away with boots/ outer joints. It's not really noisy, it could perhaps be a wheel bearing . The noise is only there when cornering , if just turning at a car park speed it's fine. Will soon find out I guess! Cheers
