As the title asks, how do I remove the ashtray slide from a KH Verada?
I know that the ash part pops out, but my lighter plug doesn't work and I want to charge my phone!

Any tips on how to remove it so I can fix it?

Not sure if Veradas are different, on the TJ Magna you remove the ashtray so you can use the hole as a handle to just pull the ashtray/lighter socket unit out. It just pops out towards the rear of the car with a bit of a yank, from memory.

OK, don't try pulling it out until you have lifted the centre console around the gear shifter. Just put the car in neutral and lift the whole thing up, then take the ashtray out by pulling on it
