Hi all,

a week ago I replaced both rocker cover gaskets and the rear platinum plugs on my KJ Verada (stock 3.5, 185000km). I ended up replacing the dizzy O-ring and the breather hoses aswell, all with genuine parts.
When taking the intake plenum of I noticed oil dripping from the vaccuum actuator of the EGR-valve and the inside of the intake plenum was quite oily. I then cleaned the breathers and replaced the PCV-valve too.

Now a week later the rocker covers and the dizzy are dry but there is still oil dripping from the EGR-valve! My question is did I replace all the necessary things and this is just some residue oil that was trapped inside the plenum or is there another cause for oil being inside the plenum?

Could be that the new PCV valve and breather pipes are now allowing the intake vacuum to suck oil blow by from worn rings, does your car use a bit of oil?

no noticable drop of the oil level and the car doesn't blow any smoke, even if revving the engine after leaving it to idle for a few min. Will have a look inside the new breather hose tomorrow.
