Hi all,

I'm a very proud new owner of a Ralliart Magna and I am curious, as was quoted in a review and on one of the forums here that it missed out and should have in fact had the AWD of the next models.

Out of curiosity I'd like to know public opinion on if I could, in fact take the AWD components from another TJ and would it be worth it?

I know these cars are one in a million and right now am not thinking of modding it, this is purely hypothetical, looking for feedback.

There is no room for the rear shaft, rear CV"s and diff for a conversion. Is easier to turn an awd into a ralliart mockup, and impossible ( excluding throwing mountains of cash at it ) to turn a ralliart into awd.

A 3.8 litre awd would be a better option tho.

Your best option is to just but an AWD, get some ralliart body kit parts and trans them over with a 3.8 if that is the way you want to go

The fire wall back to the rear bumper in the AWD floor is totally different. Nothing is impossible BUT then again you could buy 4 ralliarts for less than the cost of what you are talking about. If you have the $$, find a trashy ralliart (ie one in poor cond) and then a decent AWD and transfer all the bits you like from the Ralliart to the AWD

Also there are better parts/options than that of the Ralliart, so I think when building up an AWD you'd only use the Ralliart bodykit if you really liked it. And maybe parts of the interior

Hey all thanks very much for the input, like I said this is just hypothetical but I'm glad to be able to have gathered some info :) My Ralliart has already featured on this site but I will post a photo up, she's a beautiful car and doesn't actually need anything done to her just thought the AWD might have been a nice addition
