Hi guys,

Long time lurker, first time poster here. So, my TJ trippy sports TCL Solenoid has died :tired: (confirmed by mechanic) and I'm looking to replace it. So, I called a few wreckers and I've been quoted between $150-$300 for a used one. Are they trying to rip me off? Also, where I live (Perth) does anyone know a mechanic who is most suited to do such a job? My mechanic is pretty clueless. Thanks heaps guys! :happy:

They are trying to stitch you up, I can do one posted for $95, this is both the solenoids and bracket, not just the single solenoid.

Changing it is simple, 10mm socket and about 3 mins, if you can not do this try and contact munkeymanz on this forum, he may be willing to assist
