My mate is wrecking his 1987 TM GLX.

the auto has packed itself in. 1st gear doesn't engage. 2nd and 3rd are fine

This car was recently purchased off an old woman who sold it due to her husbands death.

hey guys this magna is actually mine just wanting to say that i really dont want it and it's really getting in the way

i was on the track to getting it roadworthy. i have a roadworthy paper saying what it needs to pass

The body is in pretty good nic there is some rust from top of the windscreen but when the bloke replaced it he had a look and it's only light surface

-Windscreen/wipers (Replaced it about 3 days before it died $150!!)
-Head lining Secured (Not Hard to do!!)
-Secure Battery (the clamp is there needs one bolt)
-Left Front tyre (Both Front tyres new-not retreads $80ea)
-Rear Tyres (the old front right would still pass rwc still got a bit of tread)
-Center Muffler (small hole mechanic said can be welded)
-Rear Brake Pads (.....yeh)
-Secure Spare wheel (Needs 1 Bolt to hold it in)

It Also comes with 2 wheels off the front caus i got new rims and tyres for the front and the spare tyre is busted i think... it's just got stock rims with the hubs off

I was going to fix it up and use it as a run around car for me brother aswell but i really cant be bothed piss fartin around replacing the auto plus i got another car i am doing up and the magna is just in the way! and some little **** stole the badges off it

looking for like $200 and it's on gas it's has the wickedest economy!

by all means you pay for one huge arse box to be posted down there and it's yours!!!!

Yeah I think it'd fit on the Spirit 1 or 2. Bring it with you next time you pass by hobart on your way to...yeah...hmmm If you dont get rid of it by Christmas I might pick it uplol I reckon it'll move pretty quick (no pun intended) for $200 though.

U wouldnt happen to know of any TP wagons with blue interiors, good bodys, any condition engines for around the same price would you? Just throwing that one out there:P

no sorry i don't know of any tp wagons with blue interiors but i do know of a TM GLX sedan with grey interior that is for sale for $200 that i really do not wish to have and i would really like it if someone would purchase it before it really anoys me and i get it towed away for nothing!!!!

How much do you think it would cost labour-wise to get the auto box installed? If you can put up with it till around christmas, I'll take it off your hands...aslong as its not gonna cost too much to get it rolling.

it needs 2 new tires on the front. i think they are re-treads at the moment

It has done about 220000k's.

as for the auto, dunno. Kaddis was gunna pick one up fo $20 and put that in. If you have the right envornment, tools and know-how it shouldn't be too hard

Sounds cool, just need the tools, environment and knowhow. Something to research. I'll let you know if and when Im coming over to Vic, most likely near Christmas, gotta see how much time I get off.

Installing the auto box is really no worries, get yourself a gregories and do it yourself :D

I think I'll take a trip over to Vic, if I can get hold of the auto box and you still have it there. I wonder how much an inspection to get it certified in Tas would cost? Ive never been to Vic b4...well Ive stopped in the airport but that doesnt count. How far are you from wherever the spirit stops...or the airport?

mate from memory it takes a bit over an hour from when the sprit stops to mooroolbark. I was talking ot Chris (Kaddis) and he said that if you are willing to pay for the car, he will keep it till christmas

how come in the pics its got the inside of a SE then :nuts: both the front and rear seats are from the SE also the wingcontrols behind the steering wheel are from a SE too

haha i don't really know i just thought it was a GLX caus it's got the poo bottom accesories... i didn't even think it was possible to go lower! i don't know for sure caus some **** stole the badges off the back. anyway of finding out if it's a GLX or SE from somewhere else on the body?

This is a definate TM SE, the head rests, the controls give that away. A good buy for someone wanting a cheap run around if you can be bothered changing trans which should be cheap enough from pinch a part

the SE had rear speakers. the GLX did not. the grille shows its a TM, just has the mitsu emblem removed like i have. but yeah, the thing beind the steering wheel with the controls came on the SE.

i also reset the person who said the TM SE was a cheap run around car :mad: mine isnt a run around car! and goddammit it hasnt been cheap :bowrofl: ohwell...

the SE also has the comfiest seats of all :D its a nice cruiser.

well there you go i been thinking since i had it that it's been a glx! cool! ok so now it's $300 caus it's an SE.......nah joking!

GUYS if no one picks this car up by sunday/monday a towing mate said he give me 200 for it so if anyone wants to beat his offer i hold onto it for abit longer but i'd rather give it to someone from the club!
