Labour costs will vary from workshop to workshop - independent, chain, a specialist wrecker, etc...; prices of struts will also vary depending on the brand and where you buy them.
I replaced had all four replaced a few months ago for $510 ($390 for Selby struts, $30 per wheel to fit (along with new springs and front strut tops which had to come off anyway)), but that may or may not be a accurate yardstick for your comparison.

I had my fronts changed not long ago cost 150 for some cheap struts off ebay (all the finances would allow at the current time) and was about an hour and a half labor had springs changed aswell but they have to come off anyway. Also had brake pads lobbed in at the the same time as I already had them and figured it would save me some time to have them do them at the same time.
Have also learnt how to do them my self since so next time will be able to save on labor.

Will definitely need a set of spring compressors which are readily available from most auto shops. Bump stops are also available from most auto / suspension shops and are usually sold separate to the struts / shock absorbers.

Dont skimp and get cheap spring compressors, standard height springs coming off need a lot of compression. At least spend the money $100 or so for a set of Kinchrome or something decent. No point risking injury/life with a cheap $40 set that will most likely strip thread/bind up or worse yet slide/pop off. One of those jobs better to spend the extra on.
