Heading up to you-flog-it to grab a bunch of things for the KH Verada and I need some guidance.
First thing. Are the front hubs interchangeable from left to right? I assume they are, but just want to check. Due to needing a press to get the bearings in and out I want a 3rd hub to put the fresh bearing in so I still have a mobile car to use to get to and from the workshop.
I need a 32mm socket and breaker bar for the CV nut. Any other tools I'm going to need that are not in a generic kit?

Second thing. ICS. Will any V6 do, or do I need a 3.5L or 3rd gen or specific year?

At this stage, I think that's all the things I need help with. The rest of it is just fiddly shit like power window switches and trim pieces (since I managed to break off ALL the clips on mine the other day)

I will never replace the boot lock, that rope is cool damnit!!

So i got another ICS, now i have a 1500 rpm idle.
The ICS i pulled out of the car has a longer piston on it that any other the valves I found in the wrecks, despite having the same part number.

WTF is going on?
Is this related to the intermittent TCS issue?

I had the hub setup wrong in my head, so i came away with a complete knuckle assembly. Can only hope the donor vehicle was in good nick, because I am far too slack to actually change the bearings if I don't have to.

The piston bit moves in and out to regulate the idle speed.
The two are bound to look different.

Idle speed should go down to normal, unless you fiddled with the stop set screw on the throttle body.

"WTF is going on?"
You are panicking, that is all. lol

I didnt fiddle with the set screw, however it is possible that the P/O has.
Is there a method for resetting the set screw? or do i just back it off until it idles correctly?

I was not able to find a drivers side window switch cluster either, so i am assuming that these switches die with some regularity?

Does the car idle at 1500 from a cold start and just stay there as it warms up?
The ISC you got may be defective.

Lots of Magna parts disappear from a wrecker pretty quickly after a car comes in, rear view mirrors, plastic trim around the interior door handles amongst others. Sounds like the door switches fit into that group.

Used a bit of nous and got it sorted. poked a few screws with the driver and got something around the 8/900 mark. No more stalling at the lights!!

Now to get hold of the bloke about the window regulators....
