I have the well known fuel sender problem causing erratic fuel gauge indication.
Can any one advise how to remove the fuel line from sender/ fuel pump pipe as it looks like a plug not a hose clamp.

As far as I remember....u push the clamp forward as far as u can then then while holding it forward press and hold the little side bits and pull it off.... Sorry if that doesn't make much sense I can't think of any other way of explaining it

You can get a fuel pipe remover (I got mine from Repco) which makes the job easy. You squeeze the clips on the side & push the hose back. Check back for previous posts on removing fuel pump and there is an excellent description as to how to do it.
