Hi all, just thought I'd share my experience with these pads. I put a set on the rear of my TP wagon, the discs were machined, getting thin but within limits. These pads were noisy, took ages to try and settle them in,also they were very very dusty compared to the Girling front pads I have. I pulled them out today, wheels were full of dust and quite noticeable wear on them already,so out they went and I put a set of girlings in. Immediately quiet....this isn't the final word on brake pads, just my experience.Have a great weekend!!

Ferodos are known for being quite dusty generally

My experience with DS2500 pads is this; Dusty, noisy when cold, take a couple of firm applications to warm up and they tend to chew cast rotors.
Having said that, you're not going to fade them out on the street!
The dust is easy to get off if you dust/clean your rims every few days (depending on use) but that got too hard for me so my rims simply became dusted, pitted and eventually, junk.

I can't remember for the life of me what spec they were, either zero or xcell rings a bell....these were quiet cold, but when hot groaned like a Scotsman opening his wallet !! Really bad under light braking at low speed,it was bloody annoying! When I took the wheels of there was a pile of dust just rolling around on the inside of the rims. Day two for the girlings and all quiet. Not sure what quality they are but they seem to be doing the trick at the moment. Anyone have any experience with the Girling pads? Cheers

Yeah I had their xl pads a few years ago on the fronts and they were extremely dusty.
