Hey guys , cool forum ! I stumbled across it one day after changing the battery in the wifes verada and then it not idling ... found the solution with a quick search but this time not so lucky .

This time its a tj povo pack that stalls with the air con on , it needs regassing but i want to get the stalling sorted first , any tips on where to start ?

have you taken the car out of a decent drive? when i replaced my battery the car ran like a dog for a good half hour. id have my hand on the key at the traffic lights just waiting for it to stall

Yes I've tried the long drive , it does about 600 ks a week

I was thinking maybe reset the computer and do the whole ISM learning procedure thing ? or maybe the ISM is faulty and not idling up for the air con ?

Sure is!
Pull the plug, you will see 6 contacts, in 2 rows.
Using a multimeter, measure from the centre pin to one of the outside pins in each row.
You should get 4 readings, compare them. Should all be the same. If one is way off the ISM (aka ISC) is not functional.
