Apparently got oil leaking at the back and been told the rocker cover gasket needs replacing.
Are the 6g74 and 6g74 Ralliart rocker gaskets the same?
cheers

Yes they are
they should be the same..
what i know from what my mech told, get a good one that comes with the seals for the spark plug area (whatever thats called)
i had to have mine re-done as the previous owner used a cheapy seal and began leaking again in just few months.

We have them listed on ebay but not for much longer as ACL have announced they will no longer make them
All 6G72, 74, 75 are the same for the S4 motors
The other brands we have used to date are rubbish so looks like I may start to import the parts from Japan as genuine units as the only other option is Genuine Australian and that is expensive

Isn't the 6g7x series engine still in production?

It took me four tries to get my bloody rocker cover gaskets to seal. Not sure which ones Malcolm was stocking at the time, but it needed me using extra rubber gasket goop to seal it finally. The problem is not helped by an average design (no lip/groove on the outside edge of the head), therefore requiring a bloody awesome gasket to get a good seal.

How to do the rocker covers right the first time has been covered so many times it's not funny.
There's a gasket design with steel inserts in the bolt holes so for those who don't want to use a torque wrench can do this job without distorting anything.
