Is there a way to restore my GT headlight covers
They are the smoked type but it seems the coating is yellowing and coming away
I am not sure if the smoke finish is inside or out
Cheers

Mine have crazed really badly. Tried sanding back but cracks too deep. It did clear up the slight haziness in the plastic, There are a number of headlight restoration kits that help the yellowing on the polycarbonate. I'm wondering about the durability of the 380 lights. I'm trying to find some spares when mine get a lot worse. They will be pretty rare parts one day.

My originals started doing that, replaced under warranty back in the day. Now i just keep the wax up on them to give them some kind of protection, haven't had a problem since. New ones can be had for a bit under $300 each.

Last time I ordered them new were about $330 each RRP, sunscreen is another way to protect them believe it or not, I know a lot of guys with import cars who do this. If is the protective coating only that is coming off google in your area someone who does headlight restoration, are many mobile crowds who do this and can do wonders, usually around the $95 per light
