Howdy all.
Hoping someone can help me out.
Does anybody know if the gear shift surround (the black bit with the drink holders built in) is identical for manual and auto models?
If so, does anyone have the part number from Mitsubishi? I am after one in good condition as mine is pretty damaged.
Thanks in advance!

Pickulz.

Last time I checked they were NLA from Mitsubishi, for the autos at least. They might be different for manuals in which case, given how rare manuals are they may have some but I think they're the same for manual and auto. Best bet now would be to find a good second hand one.

Manual and auto are the same, most wrecks I get in have these bits but do have marks on them, not sure how perfect you want this part.

That looks so delicious with a manual gearstick

I wonder how much work would be required to get a Grunder/240m centre console to fit. They look a whole lot nicer than ours.

Oscar, have you tried Eddy Wreckers?
They usually have a sizeable number of 380 wrecks, and as Mal says this bit is the same in all 380s.
If you want I can give them a call and if they have one in good nick I can drop in and pick it up Friday arvo on the way home from work.
