hey all just got 2 clarion 12" subs from autobahn for $260 normally 179 each i figured what the hell buy 2 if i can get a deal that good, even though i have to get a new amp but in the mean time 1 of the subs will sit around doing nothing till i get money im curious is there anyone who has 2 12" subs in there 1st gen is it possible to get pics if anyone does cause i dont think there is such thing as a box small enough that can fit 2 12" thats would fit in a first gen unless there mounted at the front of the boot

hey bro,
i used to have a 1st gen magna and i had 2 12" Pioneer subs in it, sepearate boxes angled into the back corners, it used to absolutly crank, pulled 140 on an spl tester with my old amp which was severly underated for the subs. But putting them both in one box and i think you will have serious boot room problems. I'd just split them and mount them in the corners like a said, it makes a mean sound especially teamed up with some 300w pioneer 4 way speakers.
good luck with it

yeah thats we're i'd mount two, in that gap in the front of the boot, DaBigMan2, he's got 2 15" eclipse mounted in a box up in there, its a rather large box but hes done it haha. Theres this program that calculates the best box litreage etc and i forget what its called, Samurai got it to tell me how trash my JL factory ported box was...
