Hi guys
I know someone wrecking a TJ magna and i'm taking the AWD out on a track day in a couple of months. Would there be any issue throwing on a set of TJ executive rims on the AWD for the track day to help save my tyres!
From what I understand the TJ's are 15's where the AWD is 16's so i'm thinking its a no goer
appreciate any advice
Hi mate,
I believe 15" rims do not clear the bigger brakes on the AWD

No, min 16" only, find 380 steel rims instead as they are 16"

Just a follow up questions on this thread guysm would a set of TJ/TL VRX sports rims/tyres suit given they are 17's ? or is the load ratings going to be off on the tyres for the AWD?
Thanks

The rims will be fine. If you check the tyre placard, I'm pretty sure that you'll find the required tyre load rating is 95. Many 225/50R17 tyres (standard fitment for those rims) will only have a load rating of 94, so technically not street legal. If in good condition I would expect they would probably be okay on the track but check the track rules about such things (think insurance cover).

Not lile insurance matters on a track anyway. Theyll be fine
You can always fit 225/55 tyres or 225/50 XL tyres.
