View Full Version : ECU part no MN130500 - what vehicle is it for??

While doing some ECU research, I came across this ECU part number but I'm mystified about what vehicle it could be for. In context it should be for an automatic TL/KL, but it might not have made it into a production car (e.g. it could have been intended for a TL version of the Ralliart) given development lead times.
If anyone has access to any records (parts databases etc) which might shed some light on this I'd like to know if it even shows up in them...
BTW, part number MN130501 is the ECU part number for the TJ AWDs (all variants AFAIK).

Wouldn't be for the Export versions would it? Maybe an export AWD version that never happened?

It isn't for the MY04 USDM Diamante - that much I know. Given the context I doubt very much it is for an AWD as they had separate ECU code (though very closely related to the FWDs). If it is for an export, which other markets got TL/KLs? - NZ + ??? I can't be sure but it seems likely its for a 5 speed variant...

Thanks for the thoughts!
After some more cross checking, I think it is in fact just the 5 speed FWD ECU. What I thought was the part number for the 5 speed ECU appears to actually be for the 4 speed with tippy + TCL. I don't actually have a ROM from a 5 speed L/W series and haven't spotted such an ECU for sale either...

If you can send me a copy of the ROM via email (see my profile) I can create a definition for it.
