As per title.
Picked up a poverty pack mirage for the wife, $2500. Apart from needing a timing belt, it's quite tight and zippy.
Are there any major faults or things I need to keep an eye on?

Thought I had a wonky engine number, but it's the 1500, not the 1600.

Just the usual stuff for a car this age - driveshaft boots, ancillary belts, exhaust rot, coolant quality etc
Cam belts are easy to do on these, but depending on the km you may want to do idler and water pump too.

reported in other forums ... mainly electronic
problems about identifying what the car has fitted ..... wierd stuff like relays/bulbs etc
some part interpretation required for aftermarket parts ..... again wierd
with this kind of stuff take the failed part or hose whatever ....so a match
can be made with superceded parts ok
get a repair manual with your car listed ......not just a general one
