Hey, need your help if possible,

The verada just won't kick over,
There's fuel in the lines, done fuel pump + filter

cleaned what electrical fittings i could get to near the BCM & ECU

checked all fuses.

Replaced Dizzy and rotor arm, the rotor arm turns fine, but from there to the spark plugs i'm getting nothing, tried a brand new plug aswell and no spark.

Tried the standard ECU, and also the Reflashed one i just had done from SKR

wants to start but will not

I'm thinking CAS? haven't been able to get a reader on it to check codes, but any advice would be muchly appreciated.

Update: Injectors pulse is working as we can see the mist with the spark plug out

Best next step is to get the error codes read. A dead CAS will give you an error code, but a dead ignition coil won't.

Ignition coil is part of the dizzy? we took the dizzy from a working 3.5l motor earlier and put it in

What about immobilisor?

i have injector pulse, so i'm assuming it's not immobiliser

I think you still have injector pulse, just the immobilisor prevents the spark

hmm can anyone confirm this?

For what it is worth, my old NL Pajero was dual fuel, and once I tried to start it using a non-coded key. The engine fired briefly on the residual LPG in the intake and then stopped. So I assume that you get spark, but no fuel with an immobiliser doing its job.

That's what i was lead to believe too

Yep. Look at it this way - if the immobiliser cut spark but not fuel, there would be a lot of unburnt fuel accumulating on the plugs, in the exhaust system, cat etc as you crank the engine. Next time you have spark, there would be quite a lot of pollution coming out of the car, and possibly damage to the cat.

Immobiliser cuts the fuel, not the spark. End of story.

If you have fuel but no spark, it is not an immobiliser problem. Read the error codes!

Read the error codes!

+1 on this. Also check that the carbon contact in the dist cap isn't worn down or jammed in.

Even if you get no error codes, it will rule out a lot of things you have tried.

2 things, immobilizer ring requires resoldering, which is common, or the CAS has shat itself.

If you do have spark, and fuel, you may have too much fuel. If it is too rich, it won't fire.
