Happy New year?hope so for the rest of the members.have a 97 TF V6 Auto Exec Sedan that was parked one morning,got back into at night and did not start.Now at the local dealer after the NRMA could not get it go after 3weeks.Dealer says they cannot get into the ECU due to Immobilzer that they cannot get a code for, it's to old they say and nothing is on record.Any suggestions?

Thanks for the link,apparently all that circuit has been checked and found to be ok.the immobiliser won't let them in with the scan tool?they need the key code that came with the car.Mitsubishi don't have records back that far.

Probably using the wrong scan tool. A paper clip works better.

The car has been in the family since new,dad says he might still have the 4 digit code that came with the master keys.would that be the immobiliser back door?
