View Full Version : Replacing Axle Oil?
I had a look at the log book and there seems to be a service item to replace axle oil every 90,000km. I never heard of axle oil before, what is it referring to?
Also, any idea how much it cost to get it replaced?
Thanks

replace axle oil every 90,000km.
Refers to rear differential, only on All Wheel Drive Magnas.
Have a look under the back of your car. If you don't see a differential and driveshafts between the rear wheels, you have a front wheel drive model and don't need to worry about it. Front "axle" is part of the gearbox.
TL;DR
Cost of replacement = $0 unless AWD.

+1 ^^
Mine is only 2WD so it is $0!
Thanks for your help!
