View Full Version : clutch fork
Hay guys
First time removing manual gearbox. The clutch fork bit that is just on the outside off the gearbox that engages and disengages the clutch it's connected to a think rod. How do I disconnect this? The little rod itself just turns around but doesn't come out.
Cheers

The slave cylinder is bolted to the gearbox. Also remember to disconnect the fork from the pressure plate otherwise you wont be able to remove the gearbox.

It shouldn't be connected to the fork as it sits in a cup. Can you get a picture up?

Yeh sorry I was a little confused. All I did was unbolt the 2 12mm bolts holding the slave cylinder to the gearbox and the little rod came away from the clutch fork.
