Never seen or used one of these....
But I would bet it works as well as a Peter Brock Energy polariser, guaranteed !

$27! come on man. Its nothing more than $1.00 worth of resistors to trick your ecu into running richer mixture by messing with air temperature reading. Ecu will learn and adjust it back to normal anyhow

What a scam. Comes from the Ukraine. Has the same unit listed for just about every car. Bet a lot of suckers buy this.

Interesting this topic comes up. I have a 12 month old Pajero diesel and the other day I was reading the w'shop manual. It showed a "Pre-filter" in the air intake before the air cleaner. I had never heard of it so I pulled the ducting apart and sure enough, there is a plastic equivalent of the Hi-clone (a device sold on EBay which is supposed to be so fantastic that you have to drain fuel from your tank because it saves so much money). This "Hi-clone" is actually a series of plastic vanes which would induce a swirl before the incoming air gets to the filter. No idea as to how well it works, but maybe is generates a vortex flow and the larger particles drop out from the core of the vortex. I am sure that Mitsubishi don't put these things there just for the sake of it
