I have a KJ2 in that champagne/silver color.
Does the KL or KW with color coded door handles come in that color?
Or do I need to have them resprayed?

Not sure what the actual color code or name is.

This is the color:

Looks like you have Kashmir, just pop the bonnet and check the code, should be HH (Kashmir) or AJ (Tanami)

Either way TL came in both colours, I probably have handles in both colours

I think it is HH as it rings a bell.
How much do a set of KW handles in the color go for?
And it has the chrome strip in them?

Apologies for chiming in but just on this topic, when you change over the door handles do the key barrels themselves need to be swapped too? Mal may have an answer

Reading past posts, there are tips in changing over the door handles but no mention of the key barrel.

I have a set of new handles to install too so was curious about this

I switched the door handles on my AWD for colour coded ones. The passenger side door lock barrel is removed/deleted. I just tied everything that was not needed up out of the way, hasn't been a problem since.

I remove the pass side actuator, remove the control rod and then re install, saves having something come loose later on

Removing the control rod - couldn't get that due to finger deficiency.

But, I did use a few zip ties to tie it to the other rod in there. I plan on greasing the runners one day soon and will inspect then, possibly have at the control rod again.
