hey guys,

apologies if this issue has come up before, i couldnt find anything in search.

my car was broken into via the rear passenger side window this morning.

the central locking/factory immobilizer wont work (i havent got anything aftermarket)

press the buttons, no lights flash.

also, when starting my car, it takes a much longer than normal time to turn over, and the cluster flashes as if ive disconnected the battery upon every start up.

im assuming when they broke into the car they have screwed up the system.
could anyone give a fix/diagnosis please?

EDIT: another thing i noticed, is that the clock doesnt work as well.

much thanks in advance

Check the fuses?

They have probably stuffed around with the BEM trying to steal the car.

Check under the drivers kick panel for any disconnected or screwed with wiring.

hmm nothing seems to be tampered with under the dash mike, though i thought about that too.

the overhead main light, the clock wont work;
the central locking only works if car has power.

edit: fixed the clock/central locking issue!! turns out i was looking at the wrong fuse box.

used one of the spare ones in the kick panel box to replace it.

only problem left now is... usually when u try to lock the car, and a car door is open, the horn sounds right?
well for me it doesnt work...

Fuse in the little yellow box in the engine bay fuse box

With the remote, may be the remote needs a new battery or to be re programmed
