Recently bought a pair of sedan genuine roof racks from Gumtree. The seller says they came off a TF sedan. As far as I can tell the genuine ones are the same as Rola RMX128 racks.

I cannot seem to get them to fit though...the rubber mounts dont seem to match the roof profile. The rubber mounts have a double groove/channel/lip whereas the roof really just has a single angle where the crease is in the roof line.

Also according to the Rola website the bars should be different lengths...the front being longer. The ones I've got are both 890mm long, not including the end brackets.

You can see from the picks below that they really dont sit properly, with gaps between the rubber and the roof. No matter how hard I try the rear one is quite loose and you can rock it with your hand.

If anyone has 3rd gen sedan genuine or Rola RMX's, could you look at the photos below and let me know whether your rubber mounts have a similar profile? I'm starting to think these are not the correct racks.

I have those exact racks on my TF sedan and mine fit fine. Mounts have the same profile as yours too
