Several weeks ago I went and had a Pedders Suspension check performed. They told me a few things were needed.

I plan to do the work myself, but am unable to work out what size bushes I require. I've tried Google, eBay, searched the forum, read my Haynes workshop manual and found lots of info, but it is conflicting.

I drive a 2002 Magna Sports TJII Sedan 5 Speed Auto.

Apparently I need;

Both Front & Rear Sway Bar Bushes & Links.

I have read everything from 20mm to 27mm...

It's all a bit confusing. Where do I find the correct answer? :ninja:

Measure the thickness of the sway bars with a vernier would be your best bet

Just get genuine rubber bushes and they will outlast any plastic rubbish (as shown by the fact yours are over 10 years old) and are not expensive. Give a dealer your VIN and you will get the correct bushes

Thanks GQshorty and Madmagna, for the good advice. Original is usually best (as you say) but generally more expensive. I will give Mitsubishi a call and check the price.

Another thing that just occurred to me that relates to your advice is that my suspension may not be standard.

I can see that my springs are yellow. What colour are factory springs?

I do know "King Springs" are yellow.

If the previous owner(s) upgraded the springs maybe they also upgraded the sway bar.

Time to measure...
