Driving home tonight and i noticed some of the dash lights flashing intermittently.
There was the engine, hand brake, anti-lock and charge lights involved, flashing.
Seemed to happen only when accelerating. Car behaved fine.

Got home and parked in idle; tried tapping the dash but no flashing. Checked the battery terminals and they're clean and tight.
Anyone have any idea whats up?

Regulator issue, you are up for a new alternator and would do this before you fry something

Thanks Mal. No flashing on the way into work this morning, but i will do something about the alternator.
I wonder if that bad battery and spike a while back damaged it?

The alternator isnt cheap! Is there any problem with just replacing the regulator?

Havent had any recurrence of the flickering dash lights since Friday (that i've noticed).
Any more suggestions before i have the alternator swapped out?
