Hi guys

Probably, already discussed somewhere, but I can't find it.
After changing the battery I am stuck to enter the code.
I recieved the code from dealer, but I can't figure out how to enter. It just displays "CODE" - see https://docs.google.com/drawings/d/1COeVFYLggJrp2ul4kTG3u94jMN3QcZPEXkqaHe3Y1e4/edit?pli=1

I tried different options, but many of them are based on DISPLAY button, which I don't have on Audio.
Also, I asked mechanics in Mitsubishi Service - he suggested to hold the button "AS/PS" to show empty fields for the code, but it did not work.

Could you please advice how to enter?

Acc on. Turn radio on, should play for a couple of minutes. When asks for "CODE", push CD play. should give "0000" on display.
enter first digit by pressing the station 1 the right number of times
repeat, for 2nd number use station 2 key, etc.

If you have fk'd around too much it will lock up and you will need to walk away for 30 min with acc on.

30 mins? my stock one was something insane like 8 hours

If you get it wrong twice, disconnect the battery for a few seconds (or unplug the radio itself if you have access to it), resets the counter. Beats waiting for hours
On mine I simply pressed the buttons in sequence. No 'display' button or anything. Soon as prompted, enter the code and it'll unlock itself

Thanks, MadMax.
But did not work. May be it is worth to disconnect the battery?

Guys, I did it!!!!
I had to:
1. Turn ACC ON
2. Press "Play/Pause" button for 2 sec
3. Entered the code
4. Just pressed "Play/Pause" again - without holding for 2 sec.

Thanks all!

I knew that . . . . lol
Of course, now the radio will start acting up - CD player goes first usually - and you will replace it with an aftermarket unit.

I've been through that process twice now, TJ and TL. lol Yeay! No more codes! lol
