Hey guys,

Looking at either respraying my front bar and side skirts myself and getting a shop to mix up the paint or should i just get a shop to do it?

Im not fussed if it doesnt come up 100% if i do it myself although i'd be interested to see if anyone's done it them self and can give me some tips.

How much would I be looking at getting a shop to paint them for if they're already prepped?

Most shops worth their salt will re prep it anyway.

Where abouts are you I know a guy who has a panel shop close to me and he is reasonable with his charges, he has quoted me $500 to redo the roof of Vera and he painted the front and rear bumpers, bonnet, guards and boot of a Berlina we'd bought for my Step daughter for $1000.

John, I also know a cheap place in croydon. Work is great, just not a very thick job so more chance of it scratching

Thanks Sean, that sounds pretty much ideal. What is it called?

Honestly by the time you buy the smallest can of paint, thinners, moisture trap, respirator for 2 pack etc, it will just be cheaper to pay a shop.
