View Full Version : Installing electric seats into Magna?
Hey guys,
Currently looking to purchase front grey verada seats, although the drivers is electric. Just wondering how i Could wire it in?

I believe you just wire it into a live feed (positive) and ground as they work without the keys in

check underneath your drivers seat if you have a series two tj you might already have the plug for the power seat

most tap into the plug under the center console infront of the gearstick.

Usually the junction box (fuse box under the dash) has a 20A feed for the power seat. The floor loom simply plugs into it; So you will need a plug to work with the factory plug and then you can identify the correct wire in the junction box using the tech manuals. It is always best to use the correct wiring from the junction box to prevent strain on the other harnesses.

how much are you getting the seats for?
I will be going from the god awful 'carpet underlining' fabric scheme to leather later in the year. Only problem is I have manual seats which the ebay leather is not designed to fit. Thinking it might be better to grab some electric seats (if they are cheap enough) and then swap the leather onto them

Im getting a full set of grey KH leather seats for $200. From the pics they look in mint condition, i will be checking out tomorrow though.
