Can somebody please tell me where this hose goes, preferably with a picture as I have no idea.

pretty sure that one connects to the intake pipe. been a long time since i worked on a magna though

Where is the intake pipe, I'm not overly mechanical I only know basic things.

IT doesn't connect anywhere it just hangs down below the car.

I'm with crackajnr, it doesn't attach anywhere, it just hangs towards the ground. It's somekind of overflow.

Most models, including my 2002 TJ2 Sports don't even have a hose.

that is one disgusting engine bay. First thing i'd be doing is hitting it with degreaser, then working out what goes where

it doesn't go anywhere, just points towards the ground. it comes out of the charcoal canister.

As for the engine bay being dirty, its an engine bay not a dinner plate.
