Well im not too sure about the 2nd gens but on the 1st gens if you take out the little rubber clip things out of each side of the glove box it will fall right down to the floor (nearly) and you can get behind it easily, theres heaps of room back there, and a nice big flattish piece of plasitc to mount it to.

Other than that put it under the passenger seat and mount the amp under the drivers. You shouldnt have any trouble mounting an amp under there...unless its massive monoblock or something.

anywhere there is a flat bit you can mount it. As long as you can be stuffed running the cables to it ( ), and its reasonably out o the way.

in my 3rd gen we couldnt be bothered runnig cables thru doors so we mounted one above the bonnet latch and one underneathe the glovebox

it's not in yet, btw i've look at a couple places, there is some room behind the center console, but there too many electrical wires there, what do you think? will it cause some annoying engine noise?

i was thinking to slip it under the dash or something, but the crossover is way too big to fit there

it looks like i'll be putting it under the seat for now.

Mine are screwed into the carpeted panels on either side of the centre console in the footwells.
