My KS Verada at 260,000 km seems to be developing a misfire, cured by changing the plugs about every 4-6 months. Easy on the front bank, not so on the rear. Plugs come out looking newish, with lumps of carbon / oil(?) on them. Anyone had experience keeping these engines alive as the km creep up (mostly stop-start driving)? I'm not about to embark on another valve stem-seal adventure, as another 40,000km / 4 years is the car's use-by date.
Hotter plugs have been suggested. If so, what type for the V6?
Thanks KSD
