To any ACT members out there......anyone know of a good Auto Electrician...my son(2002 VR-X Magna) is having issues with his car lights flickering ,then it completely dies and wont start...Alternator light keeps flickering at low revs..im thinking its a combination of a dicky battery and alternator..

Flickering lights = alternator is shot.
Put the battery on a charger, before it dies in sympathy with the alternator. Overnight if he is using the car daily.
Another alternator from the wreckers, or check yellow pages?

Could also be regulator.

Never used them myself, but others in the car scene have recommended them...
