Hi, I just purchased a GTV Verada and having a problem with the satnav.
When it is switched on but not it guidance mode, it displays my position on the map fine.
However, when I enter a destination and it goes into guidance mode, I lose the map. Instead, it is just a black screen with a big yellow arrow and the voice guidance. Is this just a setting that I haven't been able to find, or something more serious?

Do you live in a recently built estate? Maybe your maps aren't updated.

Its got nothing to do with where I live. I've tried it at a few different places like gold Coast and Brisbane. Like I said it displays the map and roads fine and also my position on the map when its not actually in nav mode. When I enter a destination and the gps goes into nav mode, the map disappears and its just an arrow with voice guidance and the distance bar graph. Anyone know of a place to get the latest maps without having to spend a crap load? I dont think my maps being out of date is the problem, but there is no harm in trying and I wouldn't mind the latest maps anyway.
