Well on top of earthquakes we now have floods.
Car went for a swim. Insurance company is disputing any claim as the car run fine and has no apparent damage right after. Didnt get water inside the car. Force of water only pushed the car around on its axis 90°.
But thiz evening I have an SRS light come on... dammit! It just stayed on after turning key back on, then went off after 5 mins and now is on constant.
Am now just worried if I will get a gradual shut down of the electronics

Well, that would convince the insurance people that the car is water damaged. lol
Get the car inspected, for insurance purposes. You need to see a dealer anyway to get the SRS problem seen to, and reset if nothing is wrong.

Was water in the connector under the passenger seat.... insurance is paying for car to be dehumidified today without charging an excess...

A friend had a Commodore that was broken into and in their attempt to steal the car they damaged the airbag. Due to new airbags being no longer availible they wrote the whole car off. Maybe they would do the same for yours.

But I like my orange car. Lol.
I can find it easy in any car park lot :-)
