Is there a way to test an engine pulley to make sure it's ok?
As I think mine are making noise.

Not sure if possibly spraying some WD40 on them will silence them temporarily which will at least confirm they are making noise?

EDIT: As additional info I mean the accessory pulleys. I don't want to take the belts off to test either

I don't want to take the belts off to test either

Spray them at centre one at a time with the WD40, and listen for a reduction in noise.
OR
Use a long screwdriver pointy end near each pulley in turn, other end on ear, with engine running. (!! Hazard warning !!)
OR
Take belts off and spin by hand.
OR
Just replace the little darlings - not too expensive. Did my TJ ones at 136,000 km, one was a bit rough. (by screwdriver method)
