We just recently updated our trusty old Suzuki to a new CJ Lancer LX. We really love that car! However, is there any recommendation for an alarm upgrade and keeping the original approximate sensor key? Also, if the alarm have anti-hijack feature would be bonus. Thanks. :hmm:

Some of the boys with expensive Lancers (aka EVO) may have experience with them.
We have a CJ in the family. From past experience with after market alarm systems they cause more problems than they solve, but a modern, expensive system may be available for the CJ that does what you want. I prefer to rely on the standard alarm/immobiliser and comprehensive insurance.

PS Love the car too, except for the tyre noise, and sharp brakes, and electric steering, and space saver spare, and . . . lol

Thanks for the advice bro. We love the car too. I also found the same problem with it but, it is a great car with a great price tag. We could not resist. Cheers.
