My BEM isn't well. I've sourced a replacement BEM, ECU, keys and locks. Anything I need to look out for when replacing?

If I could lock and unlock the car without alarm going off randomly, or the immobilizer operating, I'd leave it until after the baby is born. As it stands, I need the car to be reliable.
