Hi All,

I've just got myself a Kenwood KDC126 for my 92 Magna Sedan. I am having troubles, I don't know what colour wires to put where to get the bloody thing going.

I need to plug in a Yellow, Red and Black cable. Red being the ignition one.

Anyone help me out, its killing me to not be able to listen to the new thing.

Thanks in advance

I cant remember what colours thay are on the TR, but a multimeter is always handy if you have one of them. If ya do just check the voltage on the wires with the ingnition on and off which should help you determain which ones are which. Sorry if this dont help.

I will wait to see if I get some more detailed replies before I start getting annoyed with cables again.

THey should all be tha same. THe only difference is on the more expencive units there is more wires and sometimes the colour doubles up.

That'd help a lot.

I've got the stereo working, but I've screwed up the wireing big time. My headlights don't turn off, and there isn't a continuous power source to hold settings in the stereo.

My old man will fix the lights problem though!

lol, that reminds me when i put the first head unit in my TR i stuffed it up so everytime i turned on the radio it turned on and blew the fuse for the head lights :P but if i replace the fuse the lights would work fine if the sterio was completely turned off.. untill i turned it on then off goes lights.. :P that sucked. I had to deliver pizzas without any lights at night for about a week before i worked it out :P
