Hi everyone,
I am missing fuse G and E from my engine fuse box (2002 TJ) and I'm not sure what they are and whether I actually need them. One has a fan symbol and one is possibly fog lights but not 100% sure.
I'm also unsure about what to replace them with as I don't know a lot about car electronics.

Anything electrical not working as it should? If all OK, don't worry about missing fuses.

Look in section 9-3 and 9-4 of your owners manual.....if the fuse is not installed....usually means the feature is not installed.
EG, putting a fuse in fog light slot does not magically grow fog lights.
Re fan symbol...simple check...
1) Does dash fan work?
2) Does engine cooling fan work (low speed or idle when hot)
3) Does additional cooling fan (condenser fan) kick in and out when A/C on, hot engine, and stationary, and hot day

If answer to all 3 above is yes...then nothings broken (or missing) in my humble opinion.

What numbers are the G and E fuses? I have the MMAL manual but the fuses are numbered and not alphabetised.

Will let you know when I check under the bonnet :)

Unfortunately I don't have an owners manual but I started the car and chucked the AC on and both cooling fans came on at the front, and the fans in the dash work fine also so not too worried.
But the thought I had is that the missing relay may be either the low speed or high speed and that whilst the cooling fan might work, it might not work as its supposed to.

Looks like additional fuses for climate control system then. It would still be good to know which ones you were referring to as the driver's manual and service manual refer the fuses by numbers and not letters.
