Just wondering if with say a Redback or Magnaflow muffler on each, is there much difference between the sound of the 2 engines. Obviously I would imagine the 3.5L would sound a little more "gruntier" than the 3L. Someone want to shed some light on this? I would like my upcoming 3rd gen to have a great note :rofleek:

I don't really know what the difference is if they have the same mods, but i can tell you they can both be grunty. My 3L Absolutely roars. But thats with a supercat and pacemakers.

From listening to about 10+ magna's on dyno day last year, the 3.5s sound more harsh, the 3.0l sounds more smooth and free reving.
But both do make nice notes, dont get me wrong there.
