Hi All,

I want to insert the power cable for my dash cam inside the A pillar but when I tried to pry it off, it won't budge. Is there a trick to it. I have removed the C pillars without issue on prior occasions.

Two plastic tangs/fingers hold it in, just pull from the top away from the pillar. The metal bits that stay in the body openings need to come out and get put back onto the plastic fingers before you put it back.

Actually, pull from the top or the bottom, not the sides. That would break those plastic fingers right off! Plastic needs to come away from the metal of the "A" pillar without being tilted towards door or windscreen.

I pull from the top, easy to get my finger(s) behind it.

sigh,,Vlad ,first..remove the rubber door trim seal as the a pillar trim sits behind the door seal

you need to insert your fingers into the TOP of the trim...gently pull way from the body..

once those two tabs have been removed ,they are actually metal clips ,dont worry if they come off with the trim

but the most important bit is now to PULL THE TRIM UPWARDS so you dont break the locating tabs at the bottom of the trim

if these break ,it wont sit in as well.
