Hey guys just flicked a few new coats of blue on roof after removing the dreaded failing clear and looks good also sprayed on clear now do I need to wet and dry rub the clear back then polish or just polish the clear straight up and how long till I could polish cheers

Depends on what type of paint you used. Wet rub may not be needed if you have applied the clear smoothly, it can come off the spraygun smooth if you know what you are doing.

I've lightly hand rubbed acrylic back with 1200 wet & dry within hours of applying it, remember it shrinks back as it dries further and any unevenness will get less. I've used buffing compound to bring up the shine afterwards but not polished it for months.
