Hi,
I'm wanting to install HIDs to my 2004 TW and was trying to get to the low beam globes but have no idea how to. Just wondering what size they are (i ordered H4) and how to actually remove the headlights?
Thanks!

Changing globes, you have to go through the wheel well. To fit HID's its easier to remove the whole casing.

Didn't know you could get to the globes from the wheel well? I pulled my globes out from the top, but there's a bit to remove and big hands don't help in small spaces

Just a heads up, a couple of members have installed HIDs on their TL/TW lights before with terrible results - I believe they all went back to halogen bulbs. Apparently the TL/TW reflector creates an insane amount of glare and the light output with HIDs isn't that good.
You might want to look into a projector retrofit if you want HIDs.
Projector retrofit as Red says is the way to go...speak with "Mike" Maggie3.5, he's local and can help you with questions.

I changed mine by removing my washer bottle and battery tray... was a PITA but as I only have one arm easier than removing the wheels

I see they mean, i ended up going back to normal globes. Had so many complaints from when I was driving on cruises and meets.
What's this projector retrofit?

A projector retrofit basically involves grafting a new light housing designed for the extra light output of HIDs into the standard headlights - the factory housing is completely bypassed, for lack of better description.
www.theretrofitsource.com is a good place to buy gear and look at installs.
I've done it on both my cars and it is worth every penny.

Thanks mate, i'll have a look, do you know anyone that has done it to a t/kl?

I think maggie3.5 may have done it to someone's TL once upon a time. The majority of retrofits you'll see on the forums are on TE-TJs or on 380s.

I done mine a few months ago to a spare set but been too lazy to put them in.. It's pretty straight forward, same as the majority of headlights

I've message maggie3.5 but no reply, don't want to bother them if they don't want to do it. Is there any work shops that would do it?
